About Team AFG!

It was during the summer of 2004 when Head Instructor June Rez Ardimer Cananea, 4th Dan Black Belt, together with his partner Mr. Rodrigo de Guzman Andres, decided to open a chapter at the Active Fitness Gym. Thus the AFG Taekwondo Team was born. The main headquarters of the team is located at the NLT Building, Miñoza Street, Talamban, Cebu City. With a pioneering practioners of 12, Mr. Cananea and Mr. Andres mold and shaped the team to be a team to be reckoned with. From then on, many Taekwondo enthusiasts have joined the team. Garnering medals and trophies through the years, the AFG Taekwondo team is still striving to perfect the martial art in order to prepare the jins when they venture out in the real world where everything is not in your control.
