Taegeuk Sa Jang/Palgae Sa Jang

This trigram represents Thunder. Also, the trigram is strongly connected to northeast and the relationship of the Eldest son. Thunder comes from the sky and is absorbed by the earth, thus, according to the beliefs of the I Ching, thunder is one of the most powerful natural forces. 1- Step Self Defense Forms

  • Right leg step back out-in kick, same leg side kick (shout).
  • Right leg move back, twist body to the left / jumping 45 kick (shout).
  • Right leg move back then step forward to horseback riding stance, right out-in middle block, back fist (shout).
  • Right leg move back then step forward to right forward stance, left knife hand upward block with right reverse neck chop / pull arm and shoulder, left knee strike (shout).
  • Right leg move back then right 45 kick / left leg round house kick (shout).
