Welcome to Blue Warriors Taekwondo Club!
The Talisay City Blue Warriors TaeKwondo was created a School
TaeKwonDo Team of Cansojong National High School on July 26, 1999 in response to
the need of TaeKwonDo Players to represent Cebu Provincial Athletic Meet. On the
one hand the school already has an existing TaeKwonDo Team under the supervision
of Mr. Oscar Zabate, however the players are not TaeKwonDo Jins but are from
different form of martial arts such as Karate, Yawyan, Tat Kun To ext. So Mr.
Oscar Zabate commissioned Mr. Kim F. Obeso a National Player member of the
Philippine Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do presently known as Philippine Moo Duk Kwan
Soo Bhak Do and transferee from Digos to train new TaeKwonDo players for the
school. The team started with 6 original members namely, Jauren Canucot, Dexter
Mabanag, Joel Pasible, Alfred Dela Torre and the Avila brothers from ASK. Then
in 2000 the team had 30 or more members and winning medals for the school in
different taekwondo tournaments. The trainer itself who founded the new Team
became a Palarong Pambansa Player for Central Visayas in the 2000 Millennium
Palarong Pambansa held in Bacolod City, Negross Occ. On the same year the team
expanded its training to Tabunoc Central School to create an Elementary Team.
From its humble beginnings the Blue Warriors now has over 60 or more players
from these following Schools, Lagtang Elementary School, Bulacao National High
School, San Isidro Elementary School, Candulawan Elementary School and Maghaway
National High School. Trainings are Conducted in the school grounds. The Name
Blue Warriors was taken to represent the Hwa Rangs of Korea that fights for
Justice and Peace.

enhance the spiritual, moral and physical growth on each member and
inculcate in every member that through Tae Kwon Do we can achieve PEACE,
UNITY in DIVERSITY, SPORTS and HEALTHY PROMOTION OF MARTIAL ARTS.
